We are currently seeking an experienced, self-starting, goal oriented, and successful sales professional to fill the role of Business Development Manager. As a Business Development Manager, your objective is to clearly express ideas in a manner that will build rapport with our current and new customers. The ideal candidate will not let the market dictate their opportunities; rather, they will proactively build a pipeline of project opportunities that provide for new customer relationships and assist in managing existing key customer partnerships for long-term business growth and success.
- Develop new business accounts and expand existing customer relationships to secure major construction contracts.
- Utilizes strategic account planning and sale pipeline management tools
- Follows a proven sales process that includes prospecting, qualifying, targeting, identifying customer needs, developing
- value propositions, presenting solutions and alternatives, and closing the sale for future construction project

- Continuously grow and develop your skills to lead project teams in selling high-end conceptual services to
- executive-level managers and buyers of large corporations and agencies
- Maintains knowledge of marketplace issues, industry trends, competitive information, customer expectations, public
- policy and other market drivers
- Participates in industry and community organizations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Proven track record developing business and long-term client relations
- 5-10 years of business development / sales experience
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in order to complete a sale
- Ability to quickly establish relationships with executive-level managers and buyers of large corporations and agencies
- based on credibility, value, and trust
- Formal sales training and experience with client management software is a plus
- Knowledge and use of behavior-based tools such as Social Style or DISC is a plus
- Overnight travel to conferences and meetings as needed
- Valid driver’s license
