We are currently seeking an experienced, self-starting, goal oriented, and successful sales professional to fill the role of Business Development Manager. As a Business Development Manager, your objective is to clearly express ideas in a manner that will build rapport with our current and new customers. The ideal candidate will not let the market dictate their opportunities; rather, they will proactively build a pipeline of project opportunities that provide for new customer relationships and assist in managing existing key customer partnerships for long-term business growth and success.

  • Develop new business accounts and expand existing customer relationships to secure major construction contracts.

  • Follows a proven sales process that includes prospecting, qualifying, targeting, identifying customer needs, developing
  • value propositions, presenting solutions and alternatives, and closing the sale for future construction project

  • Maintains knowledge of marketplace issues, industry trends, competitive information, customer expectations, public

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Proven track record developing business and long-term client relations
  • 5-10 years of business development / sales experience
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in order to complete a sale
  • Ability to quickly establish relationships with executive-level managers and buyers of large corporations and agencies
  • based on credibility, value, and trust
  • Formal sales training and experience with client management software is a plus
  • Knowledge and use of behavior-based tools such as Social Style or DISC is a plus
  • Overnight travel to conferences and meetings as needed
  • Valid driver’s license
