Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and evaluations to aid decision[1]making processes.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Design and maintain financial models for performance assessment, scenario analysis, and strategic planning support.
- Perform investment analysis, evaluate potential investments, conduct due diligence, and provide recommendations.
- Utilize various tools, including Microsoft Power BI, to collect, organize, and analyze financial data.
- Develop dashboards for quantitative and qualitative KPIs that track the financial and operational performance of the company.
- Identify key financial trends, patterns, anomalies, and provide insightful recommendations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with different business units to formulate financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
- Monitor actual financial performance against forecasts, identify variances, and provide explanations and recommendations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors that may impact financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
- Exhibit attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis, reporting, and data management.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities in addressing financial challenges
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. An ACCA / MBA Finance or CFA designation is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, financial analysis techniques, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial software, databases, and advanced Excel skills.
- Previous experience in setting up dashboards and proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
- Robust problem-solving skills and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational dynamics.
