We seek an organized, thoughtful, and flexible team player to join us as a Marketing Assistant. You’ll work closely with team members across the marketing, operations, recruiting, and consulting functions to ensure that the firm’s message is communicated effectively through all touchpoints.
- Produces short written pieces, website blubs, article summaries, bios, brochure copy, and similar items
- Works with editorial and creative teams to produce marketing and recruiting materials
- Drives execution of rapid response activity
- Posts updates to website/CMS, keeps links and tags fresh, and creates social media posts
- Owns newsletter distribution, marketing automation activity, etc.; maintains content library
- Serves as a key member of conference, event planning and webcast teams
- Ensures adherence to brand and style guides
- Supports additional initiatives as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exhibits superior writing skills with a nuanced understanding of language and tone
- Has at least 3 years of experience in a deadline-driven, technology-enabled work environment
- Bachelor’s or higher degree, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrates personal initiative in problem solving and skill acquisition
- Actively seeks out and implements feedback
- Keeps projects moving forward efficiently while remaining flexible and keeping lines of communication open
- Adapts well to fluid, faced-paced environments; comfortable with ambiguity
- Can excel independently or collaboratively as the situation warrants
- Demonstrates a high comprehension level; comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets, working within budgets, interpreting maps and directions, and learning new software tools
- Consistently exercises strong analytical reasoning and sound judgement; has “uncommon common sense”
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
