The Social Media Marketing Manager will be hands-on in both day-to-day execution and big-picture strategy and will report to the Chief Marketing Officer. We are looking for excellent writers, thoughtful strategists, creative thinkers, and meticulous researchers who want to use these skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
- Working with CMO to develop an annual marketing plan for the firm with strategic ideas to elevate Company’s brand via social media and digital marketing channels;
- Owning Company’s social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) and supporting firm leadership in managing their social media accounts
- Helping to manage Company’s CRM (Hubspot), including conducting email marketing
- Updating Company’s website and blog, including conceptualizing, writing, and working with the broader team to source blog content, with SEO best practices in mind
- Conceiving and executing out-of-the-box, creative content initiatives
- Tracking and reporting on results of social media and digital marketing activities
- On occasion, supporting business development efforts by participating in the proposal and pitch process for prospective new clients, including conducting research, helping with proposals and decks, and partaking in calls, meetings, and presentations
- Managing and mentoring junior employees
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a B2B setting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Versed in key digital media tools and platforms and knowledgeable about SEO
- Social media savvy
- Ability to take ownership and work independently while also contributing to a team
- Highly organized, creative, and resourceful
- Ability to prioritize and juggle tasks nimbly
- Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Hubspot, and email marketing
- Bachelor’s degree required
