Social Media Specialist

We are seeking for a Social Media Specialist.

• Create and disseminate clear and concise content – copy and visuals – that are easily digestible and in formats useful for targeted audiences
• Creates re-shareable content by gathering accurate information and materials; executes projects within deadlines and following approval processes
• Collaborate with other members of the communications team to source editorial content, videos, photos, press releases, reports etc. to translate them into creative and engaging digital content
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Work with a wide range of media, using graphic design software, to help increase brand loyalty and engagement on digital platforms

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of experience in a broad scope of multimedia applications, strong technical skills, and the ability to conceptualize with internal and external customers to produce powerful creatives
• Significant experience in writing content for the digital mediums – including website and social media
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic design software preferred
• Familiarity with CMS (TeamSite, WordPress), HTML and CSS preferred
• After Effects / Final Cut Studio an added bonus
• Strong time-management skills and an excellent eye for detail
• Great multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure
• Bachelor’s degree in digital media, communications, or related field preferred
• Demonstrated portfolio showing social media, website management, and software skills
