If you answered “yes” to the above, please consider joining Company’s digital marketing team as a Web Content Specialist. This role will collaborate with external vendors and internal colleagues such as product development, marketing, and others to conceptualize, organize, create, and approve website content that supports an intuitive, satisfying digital customer experience.
- Launch key products and marketing campaigns on the brand website and manage day-to-day online merchandising activities to maximize sales and conversion, including developing and executing SEO
- Monitor site experience and customer feedback to identify and address content issues, including partnership with the design team on asset creation that delivers optimal user experience, drives sales, and elevates the brand voice
- Monitor and improve website usability, design, and reporting – fully understand all website components, including function and configuration, and implement best practices for web and front-end development in partnership with back-end developers to create compelling web and interactive experiences
- Collaborate with product, creative, care management and other internal departments on layouts, wireframes, navigation, and full customer experience journeys to project manage and update customer-facing areas on brand websites
- Conceptualize, organize, write, and facilitate the creation, review, and approval of new and updated website content
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Web Design
- 5+ years of experience driving website content and/or web merchandising planning, design, and execution
- Experience in desktop publishing applications, Adobe Suite, WordPress, HTML, web CMS, Google Analytics, and/or similar web publishing and reporting tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience implementing SEO best practices
- Working knowledge of ecommerce and content best practices, along with responsive design and mobile first best practices
- Experience designing and updating webpages through effective management of a website promotional calendar
- Experience in website optimization and usability, including developing for cross-browser compatibility
- Ability to collaborate with individuals across the organization to gather information and advise on web communication strategies
- Ability to write customer-centric, user-friendly web copy while maintaining corporate brand and voice
- Keen attention to detail, exceptional ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
