Requirements: Basic qualifications and requirements

  • Well versed in using Software like Articulate 360 and photoshop and video editing to create training content.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook
  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to details.
  • Capacity to exercise independent judgment in resolution of administrative problems or issues
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain energy, enthusiasm and commitment while managing change
  • Shift hours for this position may be different from the standard production shifts, willingness to work different shifts

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience as a trainer, prior training, teaching or presentation experience
  • Willingness to work in different areas as required by training needs, excellent attendance
  • Candidates must be very organized and able to handle multiple and changing projects/priorities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create training documents; utilize various software such as Articulate 360, Photoshop, video editing to design effective training content
  • Coordinate and facilitate all training related programs
  • Track performance including learning curve and quality and implement appropriate performance improvement initiatives to support improved performance
  • Monitor adherence to all established training programs to ensure standard work is achieved and implement new tactical and strategic projects
  • Assess developmental needs for individuals and groups and develop plans to close gaps
  • Partner with program managers and leadership teams to update training documents, implement process change and ensure site adoption of process changes
  • Create internal dashboards and use them to report training progress and KPIs in daily and weekly leadership calls.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Manage ticketing system and ensure tickets are closed within expected timeline
  • Manage Process Coaching Program and ensure daily expectations are met
  • Assess developmental needs for individuals and groups and develop plans to close gaps
  • Partner with program managers and leadership teams to update training documents, implement process change and ensure site adoption of process changes
  • Fully understand workflow and daily production goals
  • Participate in labor planning; partner with operations leaders to plan for new hire on-boarding and training
  • Partner with Ops and leadership team to verify performance management process is followed and retrains are completed on time
  • Deliver on-boarding activities such as NHO (new hire orientation) twice a week. This will include safety, policy and process training
  • Document feedback results to help the learning department identify strengths as well as areas of improvement
  • Solve problems: react quickly and productively, serving as a resource for specific problems and undertaking the appropriate steps to resolve

    • Maintain a positive attitude and presence on the floor

Please note the following to be informed clearly to candidate and consent to be received on email response:

  • Travel is required between 4 sites in UAE as per business Frequency of travel may range from 5 days a month in BAU, to 2 times a week.
  • Candidate would be required to work 5 days a week (9hour working and 1hour break). The 2 days off will be split or together depending on business needs and rostering for the month. This will be decided and can change as per requirement of coverage in the team
  • Candidate will need to work odd shifts – 6AM and 9AM are most common shift start times and in some cases night shift which will be 1AM and evening shift which will be 3 PM. Compensatory off is provided for shift change as per Amazon policy.
  • Travel to and from station to home is covered in salary. When travelling between stations during work day or to Abu Dhabi from home and return, equivalent petrol reimbursement is provided. Taxi is not reimbursed only self-driven car mileage is reimbursed in such occasions.
  • Candidate is eligible for Public holidays as per Operations schedule at sites. There is no scope for Work from home facility for this role. Employee needs to be present at site locations during work hours
  • Training for the candidate will be 3 weeks of on-ground work where candidate must work as our operations team to understand ins and outs of each and every process. Projects will be assigned during the training and weekly follow up will be taken to ensure employee is on track with the goals and expectations.
